Toothless United Nations and The Iranian Threats

Date:

The United Nations has seemingly lost touch with reality, with rogue nations like Iran and Russia capitalizing on its weakness to terrorize the world.

Report by Sani Muhammed from Abuja

The only countries standing up to Iran at the moment are the United States of America and Israel. Iran, exploiting this lacuna, has since, through its radical activities, exported terror around the world, especially in the Middle East axis, where its proxies, capitalizing on the gap, rally to inflict significant damage on innocent civilians. The United Nations and whatever it stands for would only issue worthless press statements to which the savage Islamic rulers have nothing but disdain.  Ayatollah Khomeini loves to brag and throw jabs at members of the elitist body, deriding them as mere toothless bulldogs. “I see their policies as no more than a piece of toilet paper”, the supreme leader once declared.

And so, under their very nose, Iran has prospered not only in throwing the Middle East into a cauldron, but also in sponsoring terrorist activities across the region, in Lebanon, Gaza, Yemen, Iraq, killing thousands in the process; they have also sensationally increased the stock of ballistic missiles in their possession and are trying to build a nuclear bomb. On the streets of Tehran, according to news outlets, are billboards with the bold inscription “Death to America” and “Death to Israel”. “Nothing pleases the Islamic rulers more than to threaten world peace while the United Nations remains powerless”, complained an intelligence source familiar with their policies.

Now, they have shut down the Strait of Hormuz, a strategic sea route for international oil tankers, and are engaging in Naval drills. Iran knows nothing better than to get involved in altercations and trouble-shooting. Now, instead of viable programs capable of improving the lot and quality of life of the less than 90 million population, they are instead afflicted with more pain and misery, with starvation, hunger, and strife as the end product.  More than 30,000 of their own population were mowed down recently when they tried to stage a massive demonstration! “The regime leaders bore down ruthlessly on them and used live ammo to shoot defenseless citizens dead just to preserve their hold on power,” explained another source also familiar with the Middle Eastern country.

That bitterness, they harbor against Israel, boiled over last year in June, when they engaged each other in what has now been dubbed the 12-day war. America, long waiting for an opportunity to avenge the 1979 Rehza Pahlavi saga, cashed in on the sudden opening and bombarded their nuclear sites! But the recalcitrant rulers held on to power with the unrepentant Ayatollah Khomeini threatening world peace more. During the short but devastating war, Iran lost the cream of its Generals and scientists, but that has not deterred them from ranting more and even using public executions to crush rebellion. If the use of media rhetoric is enough to win wars, Iran would have defeated anyone based on its sabre-rattling.

Right now, they are under the crosshairs of President Donald Trump, with both sides squaring up. Donald Trump is determined to put a stop to their evil agenda. Trump is giving a deadline for the Iranians to put an end to their ballistic missile program, their support for proxies in the hotbed region, and an end to Uranium enrichment; Iran is saying those are no-go areas. The United Nations can’t do anything either. They sit in their luxury offices and issue empty press statements while the world is on the edge! Now, after two rounds of talk in Oman and Switzerland, Trump appears indecisive and, should he chicken out like he did during the killing of protesters, definitely, Ayatollah Khomeini would become emboldened and more dangerous.

This is likely to please Russia and China, who have their own sinister agenda! This is where the United Nations ought to have reared its head if there is any left! Rogue leadership like Ayatollah Khomeini should not be allowed to surge; otherwise, the world would be in danger. This man is as reckless as can be imagined and only has destruction in mind, nothing else. The ideal thing to do would be to put out his fire and get him down from the throne! He has held the Iranian people spellbound for too long. Islam is a loving and peaceful religion, and never a tool for repression! Iran should not be allowed to behave as though there are no restrictions. For killing 30,000 of its own people, there must be repercussions. This is exactly what Putin is doing in Ukraine, killing and killing without retribution from the relevant body, like the United Nations. What are they uniting for if Putin cannot be curtailed?

And you would think the United Nations would have all the opportunities to hastily convene a meeting to condemn the action. No day passes without Putin crossing redlines. This is as annoying as it is unbecoming!  Iran says its ballistic missile and nuclear programs are non-negotiable; what gives them that audacity? Like Russia, they behave as though the world is a huge jungle!  This is the time to determine whether to live in peace or submit to dthe estruction of humanity! This question should not be postponed.

As for President Donald Trump, the world is watching with bated breath,’ he cannot spend so much to bring in those awesome war machines just to threaten the Ayatollah; he has to go all the way to drive home the message; the only language they understand is war, and if this would bring about world peace, why not take the gamble? Ayatollah Khomeini has been boasting too much; let Donald Trump step in and save the world from both the United Nations and the Ayatollahs!
