Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic, Zaria has reappraised the NAOWA Institute of Management and Secretarial Studies and found the army officers’ wives’ school worthy of reabsorption into its polytechnic education programme.
Deputy Rector of the polytechnic, Dr Thomas Kajan, led a 5-member delegation recently to the institute to reevaluate its structures and personnel.
Addressing the NAOWA 1Â Div chair, Mrs Maimunatu Ali-Keffi in her office at the NAOWA secretariat at Dalet Barracks, Kaduna, Dr. kajan said he was satisfied with what he saw on the ground at the institute. He, however, pointed out some areas that needed to be beefed up to enhance academic excellence.
Responding, Mrs Ali-Keffi said that her institute will strive to keep the rules and standards set by the Polytechnic, adding that already, she has put in place, at the institute, structures and facilities designed to further aid learning.
“I hope that what I have done will go a long way to bring out the best in the students, and make them stand out in the labour market,” Madam Ali-Keffi said.
The NAOWA 1 Div chair assured the delegation of her administration’s preparedness to improve the quality of learning at the institute and thanked them for finding her institute worthy to be re-affiliated into the academic programme of the Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic.
