The Nigerian Army has released the final list of candidates who were successful at this year’s SSC 47 selection board in Fagore, Kano State. The result of the selection exercise, held from 16 January to 4 February, has been duly published in the approved NA recruitment portal.
The Military Secretary, Major-General GAT Ochigbano, who made the release on Friday, advised candidates to check their names in the portal to ensure they are shortlisted before rushing off to Kaduna. He, however, warned successful applicants to beware of internet fraudsters who might be using other sites to publish names with the intent to defraud.
In the statement, General Ochigbano directed successful candidates to report to NDA’s old site in Kaduna on Tuesday, 6 April this year for their cadet training, adding that any candidate who fails to report by 6 o’clock in the evening of Wednesday, 7 April will be deprived of his or her position and be replaced by another candidate on the reserve list.
The army secretary said, “Successful candidates are to report at the Nigerian Defence Academy (Old Site), Kaduna for commencement of cadet training on Tuesday 6 April 2021. Candidates who fail to report by 6:00 pm on Wednesday will automatically forfeit their position to another candidate on the reserve list. Candidates are to beware of internet fraudsters that may operate other websites to publish names and defraud unsuspecting candidates. Accordingly, candidates are to make sure they only confirm their names from authentic Nigerian Army recruitment portal.”
