The Nigerian Air Force says it has not advertised recruitment of teachers into any of its schools across the country, adding that the service has not even fixed a date to commence that exercise yet.

NAF’s director of public relations and information, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet in a statement on Thursday warned the general public to beware of fraudsters who use the social media platforms to defraud applicants seeking employment into NAF schools.

In the statement, the NAF’s spokesman draws the attention of the public to some social media messages emanating from one Olabisi Amao who claims to have the connection and sole right to get applicants teaching employment in Air Force school. Gabkwet said that Amao’s claim is not true.

He said, “Even when such need arises, it will not be channelled through individuals but rather publicised and made known Nigeria through the appropriate channels.”

He, therefore, described Amao claim as a callous and unpatriotic claim designed to mislead and defraud innocent Nigerians who are in need of employment.
