The Nigerian Army has described as false, fake and misleading the stories circulating in the social media that the just concluded SSC/DSSC screening exercise has been scrapped because of the recent changes in army leadership. NA spokesman, Brigadier General MM Yerima labeled the stories as the handiwork of mischief makers.
Yerima therefore, said that the general public should discountenance the stories as they did originate from the military secretary or any department of the service.
He also said that there is no question of re-registration for any applicants that have already registered for SSC 47 or DSSC 26 which the false stories mischievously claim would start from September 1 through October 1 this year.
Pertaining to payments and fees, the army spokesman said, “The army does not charge fees for online registrations and other related matters. We, therefore, advise the public to be wary of scammers because none of these pieces of misinformation emanated from neither the military secretary nor any department of the service
