Over the next few days, the editorial team of the Newspaperman will put the Edo State governor Godwin Obaseki and his Deputy comrade Phillip Shaibu on the Spotlight. The team would examine their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats as they seek re-elections. Next will be to put Pastor Osaze Ize Iyamu under the same searchlight.
The September elections will be crucial and a defining point for the people of Edo State. For Godwin Obaseki he has scaled a big hurdle in the first phase of the epic fight to retain his seat while Ize Iyamu has miraculously resurfaced on the political limelight having been on the slide.
