The National Basketball Association of United States was thrown into mourning as the news broke of the unexpected demise of their legend Kobe Bryant who played at the professional level for 20 years. Kobe Bryant was killed alongside his daughter Gianna in a tragic helicopter crash in the early hours of Sunday the 26th of January.
Kobe played for the Los Angeles Lakers team winning five championships with the same team. He was a mentor to many stars including the living legend, Lebron James who called Kobe his senior brother. Kobe and his daughter were reportedly heading for a basketball game which was supposed to start by 2pm but however, destiny didn’t give them a chance to get there. Kobe was also a family man with 4 daughters and the youngest at less than a year old. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.
