Senator Oyofo to Rescue Pdp in Edo State?

Date:

The stage is set for two time Senator Victor Kassim Oyofo to step in as the undisputed leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State.

With the exit of those allegedly dubbed as political prostitutes led by Pastor Osaze Ize Iyamu the ship is now left for  the popular and renowned Senator Victor Oyofo to pilot.

Senator Oyofo has remained loyal and committed to the Party cause and has never wavered.  He had continued to use his personal resources to ensure stability in the affairs of the Party.

Now all eyes are on him to deliver, especially now that Dan Orbih, current Chairman is under pressure to quit having been there for over a decade. Dan Orbih, in his days as the chairman has completely alienated the PDP from the masses; no wonder the PDP was regularly defeated in every poll because of his anti-activities.

Senator Odion Ugbesia is being touted to replace him at the helm. It remains to be seen whether he has the charisma and character to steer the ship of affairs.

This development has seen people of Edo North, Central and south jubilating because Senator Oyofo, they know is clinical, sincere and very loyal. “We want senator Oyofo to be our Leader; all other political-business men can go; senator Oyofo welcome”, intoned some visibly happy youths.
