No Reprieve for Sowore

Date:

Human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore was seen rearrested by the DSS barely 48 hours after his release. Sowore, who is facing charges on planning to stage a revolution by the Buhari Administration back in May was arraigned soon after.

The government had bowed to pressure by protesters and other louder voices, to set him free; but it was only a temporal reprieve before he was snatched once more and re arraigned.

The presidency had claimed that Sowore like his counterpart Nnamdi Kanu was fighting to overthrow the federal Government through his aborted revolution.
