Mind Your Business, Ambode’s Critic’s told!

Date:

Two powerful groups, the South East Professionals and the League of Patriotic Youths have lashed out at former governor Ambode’s critics telling them to mind their business. In an unprecedented move, the group spoke through their leaders at different occasions on Monday following the latest attempt through a newspaper publication to disparage the hard earned reputation of Mr Ambode.

Addressing reporters while on his way to Lagos, Mr Kenneth Okoh lambasted the faceless group of Eko Heritage for want of nothing to do. Said he: “there are more important State matters that demand urgent attention; Ambode is not an issue and will never be.” Mr Okoh stated that the former governor in terms of performance in office excelled and people should be praising him instead of trying to disparage him.”

“This is unfair and should be condemned by all peace loving people; we want to build democracy, this is not the way to go about it”, he said. In his own remarks, Comrade Jude Adeniyi lambasted the latest strategy to rubbish Mr Ambode’s name as foul play and dirty politics. He spoke to reporters in our newsroom.

“We all saw how this man performed while in office; just because a few charlatans are bent on disgracing him, they are spending illicit money to campaign against a complete gentleman:” he charged. “But this wrong to take out two full pages in a newspaper to rubbish somebody; there are better ways to settle discord.

Nigeria is a decent society and more so as Ambode belongs to the ruling All Progressive Congress; whoever is against him should be mindful of the biblical Saul and David story”. Comrade Jude warned that when you think you can crush an “ant” watch out for surprises.
