Buhari Appoints 39 Year Old “Digital Guru” As NITDA DG

Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, a graduate of Computer Science from the prestigious Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has been appointed as the new Director-General/CEO of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).

Described as a “Digital Guru and industrial key player”, the new NITDA boss is said to have 15 years’ experience in IT operations, business transformation and solution architecture across both private and public sectors.

He is also 1st Cisco Certified Internet Work Expert (CCIE) in Nigeria’s Public Sector, he is also a certified project manager and solution architect.

He also has many professional certification in networking, telecommunications, service management and solution design such as: Huawei Telecommunications Engineer, Cisco design professional, ITIC, etc.
